Yours Sincerely Doha Bus TeamWritten April 2, 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor 2023Better communication, availability to phone or email and get a reply, notices of pick up times etc etc. firstly, it was unclear of the pick up places stating on one brochure it was the park in Sheraton, Doha and to locate that was a challenge in itself. When we arrived the site office was locked, no signs or timetable, fortunately a maintenance person was there fixing a lock and he said there should be a bus within 30 to 40 minutes. We waited, although another couple who were there waiting said they had waited for an hour and a half yesterday & the bus didn’t come. Fortunately for us the bus did come, audio guide was hit and miss, no instructions as to drop off or pick up points and when we tried to pick up the 7 pm night tour but the bus never arrived at the location we were told earlier that day…. all in all, very disappointing but it could have been a fantastic experience if we could have communicated with the March 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It arrived 1020, but driver explained he left first stop at 1000. Leaflet said 9 for first bus So lost points for that. Some of Tour guides not interested in their jobs, others were good. Audio information was not 100% clear, and not too interesting. Worst thing was they decided to alter return route, contrary to what the kiosk had advised us. so to go to the City Mall on the return leg, which was our plan, we gad to get off and catch the brilliant metro. Fellow traveler just mentioned, she is going for half a day bus tour for 20 usd. I joined her it was really good. Bottle d waters provided through the city tour. Free. Travel both in day and in night. Different experience both the time of the day. One complete round takes approx yrs time without getting down at any place. Tips- if u want to use it once then catch the bus around 2 pm in the afternoon and spend wonderful time till 9 pm. U can see both day beauty and evening with lights all over the city. You can express doha with train individually but need loads of reading to understand and may miss bits if yiu are just stopping over couple of days .It's worth trying , lovely views , plenty time .April is hot may be February march and even earlier in Jan temperature are round 28 .All depends on how hot your can tolerate .We went in April, booked online and it was just right.
